Silva 1.6 Final ist (schon etwas länger) draußen

Die Meldung ist schon zwei Wochen alt, aber die Chronistenpflicht läßt mich es nicht vergessen: Das Zope-basierte CMS und Dokumeten-Verwaltungs-System Silva ist in der Version 1.6 erschienen. Neu sind unter anderem eine automatierte Volltext-Indizierung von Word- und PDF-Dokumenten und ein verbesserter RSS-/Atom-Feed. Und schneller soll das Teil auch noch geworden sein. Python-Alarm bei Google

Vorsicht Python, hieß es kürzlich in den New Yorker Google-Büros. Die Schlange war einem Mitarbeiter entwischt. [Netzeitung.de Internet]

Die Meldung hat vor allem deswegen Witz, weil Python als Scriptsprache bei Google intensiv genutzt wird. Google und Python sind daher auch der heutige »Google des Tages«.

Es ist da!

Zumindest im Institut ist mein Büchlein zu RSS und Atom angekommen. Es sollte daher ab sofort im Buchhandel und sicher bald auch bei Amazon erhältlich sein.

Zum Inhalt sage ich nichts, da bin ich als Autor befangen. Aber es fühlt sich gut an.
