Ein Wiki für die Wissenschaft

Das Forschungsprojekt Wikinger will neue Kommunikationswege im Netz eröffnen und ein Informationsmanagement in Wissenschaft und Forschung ähnlich der freien Online-Enzyklopädie Wikipedia schaffen. Das Projekt wird vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) mit rund 1 Million Euro gefördert. [Golem.de]

Irgendwie habe ich den Eindruck, daß hier das Rad noch einmal erfunden wird. Und außerdem ist es ein Glück für die Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, daß sich Dinu Ghermans kleiner Wi(c)kinger mit »ck« schreibt : HeyHeyWicki.

Neu in meiner Bibliothek

Ich hatte hier schon einmal darüber berichtet, die Auslieferung hatte sich wohl etwas verzögert, aber seit Freitag liegt es endlich auf meinem Schreibtisch: wxPython in Action. Und ein erstes Überfliegen der 550 Seiten bestätigen meine Vermutung, daß sich der Kauf gelohnt hat. Ich werde das Buch aber noch gründlich und ausführlich lesen und danach darüber berichten.
